Before moving to Hong Kong in 2010, I was based in Tokyo, where I worked for NTT DOCOMO, one of the world’s largest mobile communications operators, as a franchise adviser managing DOCOMO franchises in the Tokyo area. I then became an assistant manager responsible for global business development in the greater China region.

Moving to Hong Kong with my family has given me a chance to search for opportunities to recharge myself and my career. My experiences in the Global Business Division of NTT DOCOMO convinced me of the belief that communication skills and cultural sensitivities alone cannot guarantee the success of a global business. Thus, I need to pursue an MBA to acquire core business skills, such as finance, operations and business strategy, to pursue a more solid career.
