After finishing my undergraduate studies in the field of electronics and communication engineering, I started my career at Infosys Technologies Ltd, where I worked in technology consulting engagements for British Telecom, Citibank and Wal-Mart. In addition to technical know-how, this experience provided me with an in-depth understanding of the business operations and best practices of these companies, the factors that make them pioneers in their respective industries. I then moved on to take up the role of senior technology consultant at IGATE Patni, where I started a new offshore engagement for Metropolitan Life Insurance.

I believe that the HKU MBA’s China focus will provide me with numerous opportunities to learn about China’s business environment. Additionally, as the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong, HKU has a strong brand name and a wide alumni base across Asia. Last but not the least, the opportunity to take part in an exchange programme with London Business School provides an ideal combination of East and West, offering the best of both worlds.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the HKU MBA experience so far and eagerly look forward to the rest of the programme, which I think will be one of the best times of my life.
