Prior to attending HKU MBA, I worked in Strategy Consulting, providing guidance and advice to Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the U.S. and Europe. My career transition was made possible through strategic networking. I did not blanket companies with applications but rather focused on developing relationships which could lead to more impactful and productive use of my time. This networking, along with targeted Career Development and Training activities which solidified the focus of my job search, resulted in an offer from American Express in January, 2014.
