I am originally from Yichun, Jiangxi, and I graduated from the China University of Petroleum – Beijing. Today, I work for Bong Connect Company Limited as the Assistant Vice President. I am dedicated to seeking new possibilities and self-revolution through learning – one of my main motivators for studying for an MBA.
After joining the company in Hong Kong, I played a crucial role in developing its business and operation. Bond Connect Company started from a tiny team of only 4 members and has grown to a team of 20+ members today. I played role in operation, finance, IT, and sales – all very different business teams – as I had to create a good blueprint for the company, putting all my working hours into it. Today, Bond Connect Company works so well that the Hong Kong and Beijing Governments threat it as an irreplaceable platform between China and offshore – something which I am immensely proud to have helped build from the ground up.
When I finished my master’s degree in Science, I thought I had found the skills and knowledge to start my career in the industry, but I discovered I was wrong after working for several years in Hong Kong. If we want to have a happy life, we should not stop learning, whether it be during work hours or leisure time. I endeavor to develop my vision and thinking methods, and thus, decided it was time to begin my MBA journey to find the ultimate key to happiness in my career.
Thanks to HKU MBA team, I hope to take these two years of study to learn from professors and classmates – most specifically, how I can find happiness. In the meantime, I’m excited to explore who I am and what I can achieve through MBA academic pressure.
