I am a finance expert in the real estate sector. My position is deputy financial controller in Huafa Industrial Co., Ltd. Zhuhai, a listed real estate company in China. I am responsible for the financing activities in capital markets and supervise the finance business of overseas investment.
When I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Accounting in Sun Yat-sen University in China, I started my career in PricewaterhouseCoopers. 9 years later, after promotion to senior manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers, I joined Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (an investment holding company under the Singapore Keppel Group) and was appointed as General Manager of Financial Planning.
2014 was a big year for me and I made a great decision to enroll in the HKU MBA programme. To obtain international insight and exposure, I started the Part-time MBA programme in the weekends and meanwhile rushed between Hong Kong and Zhuhai on weekdays. The courses in the classroom indeed provided me with international knowledge through typical business cases, which I can’t learn in the China. Outside the classroom, the diversified background of classmates brought me lots of interesting experiences and thought from worldwide angles. Besides the academic achievement, I gained cherished friendships with my classmates and professors. Networking has also been a remarkable harvest during my HKU MBA programme.
