I am currently the Asia Recruitment Manager for Christie’s, the leading global art business and fine arts auction house. Being a key member of the global talent acquisition team, I am responsible for end-to-end recruitment across all business functions and I also cover intern recruitment for Asia.
Prior to my current position, I had a good number of years’ experience with recruitment consulting firms. By the time I began my MBA, I was facing a career bottleneck. I was hoping that obtaining an MBA degree would help me make the transition to an in-house HR role.
The whole MBA experience was valuable. What has had had the most abiding effect on me has not only been the educational value of the classes and the case studies but also developing a sense of comfort through working with a team of smart people who come from different backgrounds and bring along with them valuable experience. The investment of time and money in MBA is well worth it.
