After taking my bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Trade, I started my career in a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company based in Hong Kong, focusing on the food industry. Over the past 10 years, my responsibilities have covered different areas including sales, HR, and strategy and my effort has been well rewarded. During this period, I got married and became a father. I am grateful for all that. When I decided to take the MBA programme as the start of my next 10-year-period, I had long heard of the good reputation and leading position of the HKU MBA programme, but I still felt pleasantly surprised after I actually joined it.
“Even when walking in a party of no more than three, I can always be certain of learning from those I am with.” The programme has brought together a selection of high-calibre men and women. They come from all walks of life, as either team leaders or professionals. They are intelligent, hard-working and of high integrity. Although it can be a challenge to manage both a full-time job and a part-time MBA programme, I am fascinated by the vibrant, dynamic student life and enjoy every moment with my lovely classmates.
