Part-time MBA (GBA mode) Advantages
Part-time GBA Mode
- An incomparable mix of study – Courses are taught in both Shenzhen and Hong Kong campuses.
- Courses are held at prime city-center locations – Admiralty Town Centre in Hong Kong and Futian CBD in Shenzhen.
- Classes are based on a fortnightly schedule, Saturday and Sunday (9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.)
Example: 2 weekends per 6-week module

Case-Based Approach
The HKU MBA programme adopts an experiential learning approach, with the extensive use of business cases published by the renowned Asia Case Research Centre (ACRC). Written by eminent professors from the HKU Business School faculty and prominent industry leaders, the business case studies encourage critical thinking that enables students to become effective problem solvers and decision-makers in today’s rapidly changing business settings. The programme’s relatively small class sizes allow for extensive interaction and collaboration.

The Asia Case Research Center is a distinguished and renowned research center affiliated with the University of Hong Kong and HKU Business School, whose highly relevant teaching materials on Asian businesses are used by teachers and institutions around the world. The ACRC closely monitors emerging business strategies, economic policies, management practices and financial developments across the region and develops content-rich business case studies to meet the needs of rapidly growing businesses.
