Chi Lin Nunnery Visit

Built in 1934, Chi Lin Nunnery is a scenic Buddhist temple located in the heart of Kowloon. Constructed in the style of traditional Tang Dynasty architecture without the use of any nails, the building is the largest hand-made wooden building in the world, offering a striking contrast to the surrounding high rises.

As part of the China Immersion Programme, our MBA students recently visited the nunnery where they learnt about its architecture, history, and cultural significance through a guided tour. The visit also included a lunch at the nunnery, which gave students an opportunity to sample Buddhist cuisine.
