I was born in China and raised in Canada for 16 years, after which I spent one year in the UK before coming to Hong Kong. I graduated from McGill University with a degree in architecture before pursuing my dream of becoming an entrepreneur. I started several companies within digital manufacturing, real estate consulting, import and distribution, and e-commerce. I saw the huge potential of the Greater China market and decided to move back to my native land to explore these opportunities.

To further my professional development and to build a strong network for the future, I decided to pursue an MBA degree at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). I chose Hong Kong ahead of other cities within Greater China as it combined a variety of different cultures while still having a focus on Asia. HKU was the most attractive university due to its illustrious history, stellar reputation and the quality of it’s MBA programme.

The part-time nature of the programme was a perfect fit for me as it allowed me to focus on my business from Monday to Friday as a full-time consultant for the wine industry in mainland China. The programme’s classes were diverse and were composed of people of the highest calibre. I was also able to make many great friends that could potentially flourish into business partnerships in the future.

I have found that the MBA journey at HKU has been an exhilarating and rejuvenating experience. The course has sharpened my business sense, allowed me to gain new perspectives and has built my confidence. The programme has given me the tools and the network to succeed in the future, no matter what challenges I may face. I also had a lot of fun along the way. If this is what you are looking for then the HKU MBA is perfect for you.
