On May 20, our MBA students and alumni participated in the Oxfam Rice Event to raise funds for the improvement of the livelihoods of smallholder farmers around the world. They spent an afternoon in the hot and humid weather, persuading pedestrians to donate by selling them Oxfam rice. Even though they were rejected by the majority of passersby, they still keep a smile on their face. In this event, they learnt to “give” instead of “take”.
