The HKU MBA Immersive Visit in Shanghai & Beijing

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮’𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 | 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗞𝗨 𝗠𝗕𝗔 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗶 & 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗷𝗶𝗻𝗴

Our MBA students stepped into the heart of China’s fast‑evolving business landscape, crystalising a multi-faceted understanding of 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮, and 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Beyond macro-level strategy, students immersed themselves in distinct corporate cultures and deepened their awareness of emerging talent demands in different industries.

What made this experience truly transformational was the direct engagement with the 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, paired with hands-on brand and product experiences that brought classroom concepts to life.

Over one high-intensity week, the group met senior leaders and visited nine leading organisations, including 𝗔𝗜𝗜𝗕, 𝗭𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 真格基金, 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗣𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹, 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗚𝗜, 𝗕𝗮𝗶𝗻 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆, 𝗡𝗜𝗢, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗢 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, uncovering strategic perspectives across 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, and the 𝗘𝗩 revolution.
