As the start-up scene in Hong Kong continues to blossom and mature our MBA full-time students visited the Invest Hong Kong office on 5th November. The cohort was greeted by Chin Yung (CY) Lu, Senior Manager at the StartMeUpHK team, who explained the benefits and pro bono advisory services they offer to start-ups at all stages of development. The group also discussed why Hong Kong is an attractive place to start a company and Mr. Lu shared detailed knowledge on how to set up a company, the process for applying for tech-talent visas as well as government funds. Following this session, HKU MBA Alumna, Jennifer Chen, Senior Manager at AI Robotics, Green Tech & Energy Team shared her domain expertise in the technology start-up ecosystem and infrastructure in Hong Kong.
