HKU MBA Career Development and Training recently organized a workshop on “Bridging Cultural Differences”, by Brian Schroeder. The session focused on building awareness and knowledge on key intercultural challenges within a multicultural business environment.

Our ability to know ourselves, know our potential employers, and navigate cultural differences play a key role in our careers. These differences can impact interactions we have virtually and in-person, from our CVs and social media profiles, to interaction we have with hiring managers while interviewing and following up effectively.

The workshop combined sharing concepts and incidents through lecture and analysis, as well as small-group discussions of critical incidents. Thank you again for your insights and sharing to our students, Brian!
