During a recent company visit, our MBA community had the privilege of visiting the headquarters of 𝗗𝗲𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗜, a renowned furniture manufacturer based in Dongguan, China, known for its high-quality mattresses and innovative designs. The company offers a wide range of furniture items, from beds and mattresses to sofas and dining sets. With a focus on quality and craftsmanship, as well as its attention to detail in the manufacturing process, DeRUCCI has established itself as a leading player in the furniture industry, catering to both domestic and international markets.

Our students had the chance to interact with the company’s management team and staff, gaining insights into the company’s strategic decision-making processes in building a high-end brand and their approach to outperforming their rivals amid intense competition. Through the sharing sessions, they learned about the challenges and opportunities facing the furniture manufacturing industry, both in China and globally.

Overall, the visit offered our students an immersive learning experience, enabling them to apply theoretical concepts to real-world situations and gain a practical understanding of the complexities involved in operating a successful manufacturing business.
