Biography
Aiken Yuen has been with Yum China for 16 years since 2008, currently serving as Senior Advisor to CEO and Head of Business & Leadership Development Academy . He was formerly Chief People Officer of Yum China with overall responsibility for people strategy formulation, culture building and organization transformation for the Company with over 400,000 employees in 2,000 cities.
Aiken has been engaged in human capital management, talent development and organizational transformation for nearly 40 years. Prior to joining Yum China in 2008, he served in senior HR management positions at American International Group (AIG) in Hong Kong from 1998 to 2009. His last position at AIG was Vice President, Human Resources of AIA, AIG’s life insurance business unit for South East Asia. He was responsible for overall human resources strategy formulation and execution for its operations in six Asian countries. He has also worked in other financial institutions such as HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank in a regional training & talent development capacity.
Aiken is also a well sought after speaker, an executive coach and a qualified administrator of various psychometrics such as Hogan, DiSC and MBTI and a certified trainer for many global training programs such as Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Designing Your Life, Design Thinking, Achieving Breakthrough Result and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
