Not everyone knows what they want to be when they finish their undergraduate studies, and that was definitely true of me. An MBA can be a way to facilitate one’s career progression, but for me it is an opportunity to reassert my sense of curiosity, to pursue what really interests me and, ultimately, to alter my career path. The HKU MBA programme offers a huge variety of knowledge, obtained from class case material, knowledgeable professors and, most significantly, my fellow classmates, each of whom has varying depths of professional and personal expertise. In the end, every one of us has considered the opportunity costs and consciously taken the serious decision to join the HKU MBA, which has created a strong team mentality allowing us to share ideas with one another and collaborate beyond the classroom. This element of the programme is just as important a contribution to our personal development as the classes themselves.
