HKU MBA Graduation Dinner 2021 – Hong Kong and Shenzhen
The HKU MBA Class of 2021 celebrated their graduation and accomplishments at the MBA Graduation Dinner in Hong Kong and Shenzhen simultaneously on 12 November 2021.
The dinner in Hong Kong was held at Renaissance Hotel. It was a memorable night filled with laughter and joy, with a total of 100 full-time and part-time students, as well as MBA faculty staff, who joined together to share the happiness.
The dinner began with a speech by our Associate Dean Professor Yuk-Fai Fong, in which he congratulated all graduates for their great achievements after putting so much effort into their studies, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Student representatives also shared their favourite moments from their MBA journey with others on stage. The dinner ended on a high note, with an interactive game and lucky draw that included attractive prizes, sponsored by our students.
In consideration of the graduates residing in Mainland China that may have had difficulties returning to Hong Kong for the graduation dinner due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, another graduation dinner was specially arranged at Four Seasons Hotel in Shenzhen. The participants in Shenzhen were all impressed by the congratulatory videos from Professor Yuk-Fai Fong, our Senior Executive Director of TPG Programme Mr. Sachin Tipnis, and our Director in Marketing and Admissions Mr. Tom Ng.
Thanks to the Graduation Dinner Committee, all participants in both Hong Kong and Shenzhen had a wonderful night. The close bond between our graduates goes beyond the dinner, making the MBA community stronger.
