I graduated from Shanghai International Studies University with a Master’s degree in interpretation-oriented English. Unlike most of my classmates who ended up working in universities and various institutions, I switched to marketing, obtaining five years of marketing experience in Fortune 500 multinationals before entering HKU. I served three years in a regional product management position and two years in comprehensive marketing. This experience has equipped me with both international and local market insight and the ability to think with a business mind-set. I like marketing and would like to make it my life-long career. Thus, here I am at HKU to learn business and management knowledge systematically and to learn from my outstanding classmates. I look forward to upgrading my skills to become even more competent for the positions I will take up after graduation.
