There are many distinguished MBA programmes in the United States and other countries, but Hong Kong has the most relevant culture to and closest connections with China, as witnessed by the tremendous number of mainland China companies listed on the HKEX.
After working for three years in three different positions as an HSBC management trainee, I arrived at the first critical juncture in my career. Attending a business school will push my boundaries, and pursuing an MBA in Hong Kong will make remaining in my current job relatively easy.
The HKU programme will provide for the systematic study of business and give me an opportunity to reset my career path. If giving up something can open new possibilities, then it’s worth a try.
