I am from Mexico City, Mexico, and I graduated from the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), with a BSc in Electronic Systems Engineering. I am a competent and result-driven professional with strong interpersonal skills like effective communication, leadership, and teamwork.

Prior to starting my MBA, I worked at IBM as a Delivery Partner Executive/ Partner Executive. At IBM I had the opportunity to work directly with different clients. This was an insightful experience because I learned about my customers’ strategies, priorities, culture, and work environment. One of my biggest accomplishments was gaining the trust of the CIOs. They can be very strict, demanding, and impatient with the vendors, however, they put their trust in me and in IBM. In addition to this, I also successfully defined and implemented strategies to increase customer satisfaction, which generated sales opportunities for IBM.

I am eager to take my professional career to the next level and move into a more strategic role. I have an engineering background which is specialised in technology, so I believe that an MBA will complement my education, improve my ability to think strategically, and push me in new areas like accounting, finance and marketing which will boost my career.

Post-MBA I am looking forward to an industry change, focusing on finance and taking advantage of my previous experience in technology, so I am hoping to make a move into the FinTech industry. In addition to this, I am eager to be involved in the entrepreneur sector and explore the possibility of starting a business in Hong Kong.
