Six team members who look after Electronic Trading Solutions at Daiwa Capital Markets came to Town Centre on 10 October 2017 to tell MBA students how their solutions have automated the trading processes that many executives have come to know over the years. In addition, they spoke to students about a number of internship opportunities in the team. During the networking session with the Daiwa team, students came to appreciate how it is becoming more difficult to distinguish between office, back office and IT functions and that technology is now the backbone of the financial services industry.
