On 25 Jun 2025, we had the honour to host an exclusive sharing session featuring a distinguished guest—Dr. Allan Zeman, Chairman of Lan Kwai Fong Group. The event attracted nearly 90 participants from our MBA community, offering a unique opportunity to learn from one of Hong Kong’s most visionary business leaders.

The evening kicked off with an opening speech by Prof. Echo Wan, Associate Dean (MBA) of HKU Business School. Dr. Zeman then took the stage and shared his invaluable insights on “Navigating Global Business in a Politically Complex World,” drawing from his decades of experience in international business, and from his leadership roles in Lan Kwai Fong Group and Ocean Park. Attendees were captivated by his expert strategies for thriving in today’s volatile global markets, especially amidst geopolitical and economic complexities. The session continued with a panel discussion, followed by an interactive Q&A, where students eagerly posed questions, gaining wisdom to tackle real-world challenges in global business operations. The evening wrapped up with a networking session where participants mingled and fostered connections.
