About Me:

I am originally from Milton Keynes, England, I relocated to Hong Kong in 2019. I work as a Physiotherapist and am one of the partners at Prohealth Asia. Currently, I serve as the Clinical Director of our Hong Kong physiotherapy clinics, overseeing 4 centers.

I have a strong passion for entrepreneurship and business. By the age of 18, I had already ventured into opening 3 small businesses. Eventually, at age 26, I opened my first Physiotherapy clinic with only £200 in my pocket and a fold-up bed. I subsequently grew and expanded the clinics into a large gym chain, eventually selling them in 2019.

Aspiration for MBA:

I take pride in my ability to lead a team, influence audiences through public speaking, and launch start-ups with my business intuition (what I call my sixth sense). However, I realized that having “business sense” alone was not sufficient to scale and grow our business further. This led me to pursue an MBA to learn from Hong Kong’s industries finest and from a world-renowned university like HKU, to build on my core foundation of business, accounting and much, much more.

Why HKU MBA:

Coming from a medical background, I do not fit the typical MBA profile. Business isn’t always a part of many medical professionals’ DNA, but I believe that my expertise can bring great insight to my fellows. However, most importantly, I want to learn from others, grow with other like-minded individuals, and learn from all the staff at HKU. This is my first time studying in Hong Kong, and HKU has always stood out from the rest. Therefore, it was a no-brainer for me to accept an offer from HKU Business School.
