My name is Daria, and I’m proud to say that I hail from Ukraine, where I have experience in architecture and project management. My Biggest Career Accomplishment

One of my most significant achievements in my career thus far has been coordinating and managing a large-scale historic building project in Kyiv. Through effective collaboration with architects, engineers, and local stakeholders, I navigated a variety of challenges to ensure the project stayed on track and within budget. My focus was on preserving the architectural heritage of the historical building while finding modern solutions. I managed everything from planning and execution to communication and stakeholder engagement, demonstrating my ability to handle complex projects effectively and deliver exceptional results.

Aspirations for Pursuing an MBA

What motivated me to pursue an MBA is my strong desire to contribute to the development of construction and product design in Ukraine. I am passionate about fostering innovation and sustainability in these fields, as these elements are crucial for the future of construction. Furthermore, I am convinced that enhancing my business and leadership skills will enable me to make a significant impact in these sectors.

Post-MBA, I expect to advance my career into leadership roles that allow me to take on greater responsibility. Through my MBA experience, I hope to develop essential skills and knowledge that enhance my ability to become a leader. Refining my strategic thinking is another critical objective of my MBA journey. Moreover, I aim to explore entrepreneurial opportunities that can create a meaningful impact in the construction and product design sectors.

Why HKU MBA

When choosing an MBA programme, the opportunity to understand the Asian market plays the most important factor for me. Hong Kong is not only the business centre in Asia but also a hub of diverse cultures. I believe that acquiring a deep understanding of this dynamic market is essential for achieving my career goals in the fields of construction and product design.

Among all the MBA programme in the region, I chose HKU for its rich history and established legacy in business education, which I believe will provide me with a solid foundation and valuable connections for my future career.
