Aspirations for Pursuing an MBA
After several years of working in the asset management industry, focusing on commercial real estate investment, I want to go beyond and further by delving into other asset types such as private equity, private debt, and venture capital. Observing the rise of technology and its various applications in finance, I also have a keen interest in fintech.
In addition to industry transition, I aim to make the most of the various networking opportunities during an MBA to form meaningful connections with like-minded professionals from different countries and diverse industry backgrounds to broaden my perspectives.
Why HKU MBA
I decided to pursue my MBA at HKU because of its versatile networking events, strong alumni connections, and strategic location within the APAC region, which provide enhanced opportunities across Asian countries.
While I considered the options of MBA programmes at several universities in the United States, I ultimately envision myself thriving in this region, where the intersection of cultures and industries fosters innovation and growth. HKU’s esteemed reputation as a top university in Asia, along with its extensive alumni network, will play an important role in supporting my career aspirations here.
Additionally, the emphasis on collaborative learning from classmates, alumni, and professors is essential for enriching my professional growth.
