What was your background prior to joining the HKU MBA programme?

I am currently a senior manager for a non-governmental organisation specialising in mental health services in Hong Kong, where I oversee the operation of a well-being centre and promote well-being to the general public with evidence-based tools.

Why did you choose HKU MBA?

I chose the HKU MBA programme to enhance my professional and personal development and it was without a doubt my top choice. The case-based learning approach of the programme encourages critical thinking and in-depth analysis which enables me to take different approaches to leadership and management. The University of Hong Kong also offers access to an extensive alumni network where I can establish connections with top performers and bring new insights to my work.

What are your expectations of studying for an MBA?

My expectation was that I could consolidate my working experience with the knowledge and skills gained from this programme to develop more innovative models with sustainable outcomes for alleviating mental health problems in Hong Kong.

How is your experience so far?

My MBA journey with HKU is beyond my expectations. The programme offers inspiring lectures which equip me with up-to-date knowledge and skills and help me develop a growth mindset. Such learning experiences are essential for turning ideas into impact and is invaluable for my future development in social entrepreneurship. I also treasure the experience shared with my brilliant classmates from different cultures and industries, and most importantly the friendship we have built together.
