HKU MBA Career Development and Training recently organized an industry sharing session for our full-time MBA students, where students were able to engage in meaningful dialogues with business leaders.

Fred Sheu, National Technology Officer at Microsoft emphasised the importance of different leadership styles and how it can affect a company’s performance. Fred’s light-hearted session engaged students to participate and learn more about Microsoft’s operations in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

Marco Liu, Business Security Leader of Deloitte, outlined the key responsibilities of his position and how he works with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate possible security risks to the company. Not only that, Marco shared some very useful advice for the students and their career development.

We also had the Executive Director of a multinational investment bank join the session. She enlightened the students on her duties, and shared her views on the integration of technology and banking for future development. Moreover, she gave our MBA students advice on how to successfully break into the world of private equity and banking.
