About Me: Self-driven problem-solver, committed to lifelong growth.

My Biggest Career Accomplishment:

Over the nine years of my career, I actively contributed to the development and internationalisation of China’s interbank bond market. I undertook diverse roles including policy advisory, business development, and strategic planning at CCDC, where I helped promote initiatives aligned with regulatory priorities and supported long-term market growth.

I also worked within central government departments to facilitate cross-border cooperation. Through these efforts, I built and maintained strong partnerships with key stakeholders across China’s bond market—spanning regulators, infrastructures, market participants, and service providers. These collaborations were essential in delivering tangible outcomes that strengthened market efficiency, expanded access for foreign investors, and supported the broader goal of China’s financial opening-up.

Aspiration for Pursuing an MBA:

I hope to seize the strategic opportunities arising from China’s further financial opening-up through Hong Kong. Pursuing an MBA at HKU will broaden my global perspective and help me build a strong local network to support my career goals.

Why HKU MBA:

As I view an MBA as a springboard for broader career opportunities, the most important factors for me are the school’s reputation, its resources and networks across target industries, and the strength of its career services.

I also considered MBA programmes offered by other top universities in Hong Kong. I chose the HKU MBA because HKU is the highest-ranking university in Hong Kong, with deep roots in the city’s financial market. The opportunity to complete part of the electives at world-renowned business schools in New York and London is also distinctive and unmatched.

My Expectations After Completing the MBA:

Following my MBA journey at HKU, I hope to begin a new chapter of my career in Hong Kong—one that is both challenging and fulfilling, and helps me develop transferable skills essential in the digital era and amid global uncertainties.

Advice for Prospective Candidates:

My advice to applicants is to reflect carefully on their past experiences, identify their individual strengths, and align them with their career goals. They should also think clearly about how the MBA can bridge the gap between where they are and where they aspire to be.
