HKU MBA organized the virtual Fintech roundtable session on the 14th of October. The event was hosted by Musheer Syed Ahmed (HKU MBA Class of 2015), the Founder and Managing Director of FinStep Asia. Sharing his journey into Fintech which began at a financial trading firm in Mauritius, prior to commencing his MBA journey, Musheer explained the fintech ecosystem, opportunities, and environment in Hong Kong.
Thanks to his mentorship and support, students were given the opportunity to participate in an exciting fintech research project focus on research into blockchain for ESG, as well as blockchain & crypto market opportunities in India and SE Asia. The event was successfully completed with 28 Full-time MBA students with support from the Consulting Club and Finance Club of the Class of 2021.
