Microsoft visit

With the great support of our MBA alumni Ron Kwok, who is now working as Global Alliance Manager at Microsoft, we were able to arrange a company visit to the Microsoft Hong Kong office where our students learned a lot about Microsoft’s business model, not just at the business-to-consumer level but also the business-to-business model. It was also a great opportunity for the students to know more about the Microsoft Student Internship Program 2020.

Testimonial from Student:

“HKU MBA students were given a glimpse into the exciting work that Microsoft is doing around the world and in Hong Kong during a recent class trip to their Cyberport campus. Ron Kwok, Global Alliance Manager and HKU MBA alumnus, told us about how Microsoft supports partners across many industries to embrace digital transformation, as well as introducing us to Microsoft products such as Azure and Dynamics. The class also learned about some of the innovative projects that Microsoft and their partners are working on, such as a project with Germany’s ThyssenKrupp Elevator and a start-up called Willow to build a digital ‘twin’ of an elevator test centre in Essen, with the aim of more easily testing ideas for improving customer experience. A very insightful visit!”
