I was born and raised in China and moved to Canada when I was young. After my undergraduate studies in Finance at the University of Toronto, I joined Mitsui, a general trading company head-quartered in Japan. As a Cash Management Analyst in Mitsui’s in-house-banking sector, I was mainly responsible for its treasury functions and, later on, involved in financial performance analysis for company business areas and bond portfolio management.

Having always been interested in Asian markets and aspiring to become a business leader, HKU appealed to me as the most prestigious MBA programme in Asia. HKU has a large and closely connected alumni community, it is located in the heart of the financial district and it boasts one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse student bodies.

After becoming part of HKU MBA programme, I am more than ever convinced that I made the right decision. The study materials focus on the most pressing issues in Asia and the world, which are of great interest to me. The classes consist of the brightest individuals from various backgrounds. Along with a first-class education, I believe this one-year at HKU will be a rewarding experience and I am very excited to find out where this journey leads.
