I started my career as a technology specialist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch after graduating from Kyoto University with a degree in computer science. I spent four years providing technology support for the sales and trading desk, three years in rates and currency trading in the Tokyo office and one year in equity electronic trading in the Hong Kong office.

I consider the HKU MBA to be an important platform for further developing my career in the financial industry. During the programme, I expect to further shape my industry knowledge and expand my social network in Asia. As one of the leading MBA programmes in Asia, it attracts not only the most prestigious faculty members but also the most talented candidates from all over the world.
