After graduating from Keio University in Tokyo, I worked for Nikkei, which is the largest business newspaper company in Japan, for more than seven years. My responsibilities were to increase advertising revenue and create new revenue sources.

When I first thought of applying for MBA programme, I thought solely of HKU MBA for the following reasons. We live in Asian times. Compared to other Asian cities, Hong Kong has attracted many multinational companies and talented people because government policies have favoured a free economy and people here have open-minds and an instinct for entrepreneurship which make this city more vibrant and free. Needless to say, the prestige of the University of Hong Kong and HKU MBA offers an unparalled experience for students.  China Immersion Programme gives all students not just the chance to learn Mandarin but also to make our class into one team. In the classroom, we have many opportunities to learn case studies created by Asia Case Research Centre (ACRC), which focus on Asian firms.

I firmly believe HKU MBA will enable me to enhance my potential for a management position in Asia, the most promising region in the world.
