I currently work as an operations finance analyst for APAC regional sales and business development at Intel (Hong Kong). My role involves influencing and driving business decisions by conducting strategic financial analysis while maintaining non-compromising control. A key project at present is to analyse the consumption of Intel products across the APAC region, to better understand the profitability of Intel investments, and to partner with the company’s country/account teams in their quest to drive revenue, average selling prices, grow market share and develop new business streams across the region.

The MBA programme at HKU, including the opportunity to spend a term at London Business School (LBS), aided me in the development of a broad skill set that I believe will prove invaluable in any industry. The MBA experience enabled me to assess problems and situations from multiple perspectives to develop creative and effective solutions that best match the interests of all relevant stakeholders. The regional focus of the courses at HKU equipped me with additional insight into the workings of business in Asia, which was a highlight of my study there. The opportunity to interact with and learn from distinguished professors and experienced professionals from a variety of backgrounds at both HKU and LBS gave me a new perspective on business and was a truly enriching experience. I also value the network of esteemed alumni that I gained access to as a result of the programme.
