My Biggest Career Accomplishments:
At Deutsche Bank, as a Capital Management Analyst, I delivered capital savings of €1.3 billion under IRBA and €0.6 billion under SA for the global Private Bank. As the youngest member of the team, I regularly collaborated with senior stakeholders across Risk, Finance, COO, and Lending, which enhanced my communication skills, business acumen, and ability to influence strategic decisions.
On a personal level, I proudly competed in national-level powerlifting while working full-time and studying. Balancing a rigorous training schedule with a demanding career and academic commitments taught me resilience, time management, and perseverance.
Aspirations for Pursuing an MBA:
Through my professional experiences, I recognised that my true passion lies in finance and business. I am pursuing an MBA to gain deeper exposure to strategic finance and broaden my career opportunities in a dynamic environment. Having worked closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, I am drawn to Hong Kong’s fast-paced and globally influential financial landscape.
I sought a programme that goes beyond the classroom by combining diversity, rigorous APAC-focused learning, cultural immersion, and strong industry connections. Balancing a demanding career, academic commitments, and competitive sports has instilled discipline and resilience—qualities that will enable me to excel in a comprehensive and challenging MBA programme.
